Last night we ate at Tubby's around 7:45ish. After that we were planning on going by Longhorns to get tickets. We got there around 8:30 to find a sign on the door that said they were sold out. I'm wondering if they started selling last week sometime because if they didn't, the concert sold out in half an hour because they open at 8. That just would go to show how amazing they are! After I found out we weren't getting tickets, I had to call and tell my friends the bad news. I'm very sad I won't get to see them tonight! :( They better come back to Manhattan SOON!
So yesterday was Corey's 21st birthday. Lets just say he had a good time last night..that is until he got home. Haha. Last night I realized I didn't know where my keys were. So I looked and looked. I even made Lance help me look. Finally we decided to give up. This morning I woke up and was still worrying about it. Turns out my keys found their way into a bag and someone had accidentally put them in there thinking they were their keys. I was so happy just to know they were found! Made my day start off better.
We are having a surprise 25th anniversary party for my parents this weekend. Only invited family and a few coworkers of theirs but we have a big family and we are expecting a pretty good turnout. This party has been more work than I expected. I'm excited for it to be here but we still aren't even sure how we are going to get my parents there. I'm sure they will know that day that something is up. We have to come up with something good to get them to Morganville. Lance is being a great boyfriend and helping out with getting my Shadle grandparents to the party. My grandma Shadle has called me last night and then again this morning. It seems that she is worried about getting my grandpa out of the nursing home. This morning she called to tell me that she didn't know if he could come because she didn't know if someone could help him if he needed to go to the restroom. All in all...I can't wait until this party is over. Plus I'm sure my parents are going to kill me when they realise what is going on. :)
