This weekend was great, minus the part when I washed my cell phone! Saturday was the ksu v. ou game here in Manhattan. We made breakfast casserole and pancakes before the game. The game started better than we all thought but didn't end great. After the game Lance and I hung out with our good friends Scott and Kim. We had so much fun carving pumpkins, bowling, playing pool, and just hanging out.
Sunday was the big day Lance had been waiting for. Lance's family and mine left around 8:30ish to leave for Kansas City. We ended up eating at Cheeseburger Paradise and then we were to the race track! When we first got there we checked in and got to look around. They had the race cars in the garages so we looked at them for awhile. They are pretty neat! It was weird to see the track so empty though. We all were crammed into this room for the class but the person who talked was entertaining and he did a good job. After that it was time! We got lucky and Lance was close to the top of the list to race. He suited up and raced his 10 laps. It was pretty exciting to watch and he can't stop talking about it. So I think I did pretty good on his birthday gift! Hopefully he doesn't expect better for Christmas...lol. We got some great pictures of him that we need to get framed. Hopefully it was a day he won't forget!
Last night we finished hanging up some Halloween lights in the apartment. They look pretty cool. Tonight Lance has a job interview! Wish him luck because it sounds like it's the kind of job he's looking for! I went this morning and got a new phone. It's pink! The bad thing is that it wouldn't turn on so I lost all my contacts and everything. Which sucks but oh well. I'm just happy to have a phone again! No more washing machine for it!! Well so far the week is looking good, let's hope it stays that way!
