Cody's BBQ Beef

This is Cody. He is a pretty cool guy. He isn't just my sister's boyfriend but practically a part of the family. When I first met Cody he was quite and we did not talk much. Now I know the true Cody and he is not quite like he used to be!

Anyway I got this recipe from Cody, which is why I call it his bbq beef recipe. However, I'm guessing this recipe came from his mom. No matter who's it is, it is awesome! It does take awhile for this to cook so you might want to make it on the weekend when you are around the house.

1 1/2-2 lbs beef stew meat
1/2 of an onion
1 cup tomato soup
1 cup water
1/2 cup worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup lemon juice

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all the ingredients together, cover with foil, and cook for about 3 hours. Check occasionally and stir mixture around. After 3 hours of cooking take off foil and smash up the beef so it is shredded. After you get it mashed up the way you like, put back in the over for about 1 hour uncovered. Enjoy!
