Homemade BBQ Meatballs

I sure am slacking on blogging lately! I guess I have not had anything good to say. :)
When I was first wanting to make bbq meatballs I asked both my grandma and mom for their recipes. Once I had both recipes I kind of used a little of both. I was pretty pleased with myself because they are good! I like to make these with cheesy mashed potatoes and corn.

Meatballs
1lb of ground hamburger
about 1/4 cup of oatmeal
1/4 a package of lipton onion soup mix
about 3 Tablespoons water

BBQ Sauce
1 cup ketchup
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 Tablespoon liquid smoke

Bake at 350...the time you bake it for depends on how big you make your meatballs. Mine usually takes about 30-45 minutes.

First put the meatball ingredients in a bowl. As you can see I did not make a full recipe
Then get your hands in there and mix it all together.
Next form the size meatballs you like and put into your cooking dish. I like to make mine small because they cook faster.
Now it's time to make your bbq sauce. My grandma/mom double the recipe i gave above but I always thought that was too much sauce. If you are major sauce people feel free to double away.
After mixing the sauce together, pour over your meatballs. Make sure those babies are covered. Then it's time to bake!
Yum...all done and ready to eat! As you can tell I overcooked these a little but my husband didn't seem to notice! :)
