5 Years Ago

It was 5 years ago when Lance and I started dating. Okay so we dated a few other times in high school before we actually got serious but this is the date it all changed. It's hard to believe how much things have changed in five years and how long we have stuck together. We finished up high school dating and then moved onto college. It was not hard dating the same person all through college. It never even crossed my mind that I was missing out on something more because I knew we had something special.

When Lance proposed, I was shocked! Looking back I should have saw the signs that evening because they were there screaming at me. Lance acted weirdly nervous that evening as we ate dinner at Famous Dave's. I had been wanting to go skating and he was really trying to talk me into going that evening but I had hurt my ankle that week (don't remember how) and it was sore. I told him I wanted to go another time. So he dropped me off at my apartment and I turned the tv on to relaxed. I think it was about an hour later when Lance called and told me to come over to his place. Before I knew it, we were engaged!

Since then Lance graduated from College, we traveled around, moved to Texas, and are now expecting a baby. It's hard to believe how fast time flies and how old we are getting :) but I can't wait to see where we will be five years from now.
