It Is Starting To Look Like Summer

This weekend it definitely felt like summer down here! Lance was pretty excited about our meal on Sunday so he took a picture. I have to admit, it was pretty good! Plus, I finally found the trick to buying great fruit and it's simple...buy it in Amarillo.

Our veggies and flowers are really starting to take off. It's always fun to watch something grow from nothing to an actual plant. Remember the gazillion little cups that we planted a seed in? Well we have now upgraded them since they are getting bigger. I can't wait until they actually start to produce peppers!

Our onions are starting to look pretty big too. I'll have to start picking them as I need them!

Hopefully someday we'll be able to have a nice big garden but that will have to wait until Milo is older or has more room to roam. These onions are right outside our fence because we knew they wouldn't amount to anything if they were in the backyard with Milo.

We were pulling out of the driveway the other night and I gasped. It was not just a little gasp either, it was an exciting loud gasp. Lance about had a heart attack because he thought something was wrong. When I told him I had finally seen a flower and that was why I was gasping, he was pretty annoying. So I now need to remember that gasping in the car often scares people!
