Thankful

Since we aren't traveling for the holidays this year. We've been blessed to have family that is willing to come to us. For Thanksgiving Lance's parents and sister made their way up here. We did things a little different than what we were used to. We had a big breakfast, snacks and appetizers, and then ate our thanksgiving meal for supper. This gave us plenty of time to cook the main meal and it was less stressful in my opinion. However, this would never have worked in Kansas since we usually have several places we are going in the day.

We watched the parade and played games as we waited on the main event. Lucas napped like normal and then was ready to join in on all the fun again.

I do admit, it was hard to wait to eat that yummy food we'd been thinking about all day!

I should have took more pictures of all the good food but I didn't...

It was a great Thanksgiving and I'm so thankful for all the people I got to spend it with and many others that we weren't able to spend it with!
