Since being married Lance and I have got used to living together. Obviously...I mean that is something that kinda has to happen. Living with anyone can be hard and I would expect with us being newlyweds this would be one of the hardest things for us to get used to. I mean everyone talks about how hard it is to get used to that person and their weird habits. I must admit, I thought it was going to be a lot harder than it has been. Maybe we just haven't hit the point to where we drive each other completely nuts yet. I am glad for this. The way people acted, they acted like it was going to be one of the hardest things ever but I just haven't seen it yet. There are other things about marriage that I think are crazy hard but this isn't one of them. Maybe we are odd. Don't get me wrong, we do fight and disagree and get annoyed with each other but who doesn't? Marriage is work but I love it.
I've learned to always check the toilet seat. Yes I have fell in before and I was not happy about it but the one time I suggested Lance putting the toilet lid down, he made a good point when he said "If I put the toilet lid down every time, would you put it up for me?"...I've never said anything about it after that because I thought he had a pretty good point and truthfully before then I had never thought of it from a man's point of view.
On a side note, the wind here has been HORRIBLE. Today was the first day in a week that it wasn't that bad. I've learned to run in the morning before 10 because the wind doesn't normally start going nuts until around then. Our sprinkler system is about done and then we should be getting grass by the end of next week!! YAY!! GRASS...Green green grass.
