Rain

A few nights ago we had a wind storm with very little rain. Then afterward there was a beautiful rainbow in the sky.



We've been waiting and wanting it to rain here for at least a month. Then last night, it finally did. However, we woke up this morning to a nice little surprise (not)..turns out we have a leak in our garage roof. The sheet rock has come off in a spot and we can see the installation now. Our builder is suppose to be coming by this afternoon to look at it and fix it.



On the bright side...we don't have to run the sprinklers today and maybe not tomorrow either. Around where my parents live, they have had areas that are flooded. This makes me realize that no matter what we'll never be happy with the weather. It's either too wet, too dry, too windy, too cold, or too hot. There hardly ever seems to be a happy medium when we are all happy about the weather.
