This weekend I was lucky enough to talk my husband into taking me to the Nutcracker. Above is a picture I took on Lance's phone before the show started. I really loved watching the performance. I have to admit that at the end Lance and I were trying to decide exactly what happened in the show. Since they do not talk, it made it a little difficult to know since we had never seen we did not know the plot. Anyway they had a lot of cool nutcracker you could buy and we didn't have one so I thought, how cool would it be if we bought a nutcracker at the nutcracker. Haha I know I am just so funny. Here's the one I picked out :)

I was super excited because after seeing the Nutcracker we made sugar cookies! I tried a new sugar cookie recipe. These sugar cookies were soft, chewy, and thick. I am in love with them. I didn't think they were sweet enough to eat without the frosting though. Check out this recipe, just click
