Gosh 2 months has come and gone. He's already 2 1/2 months and I'm just now posting this. Obviously I've been slacking in the blogging department. I really do like and want to blog. It just seems like it gets put on the back burner with everything else that doesn't "have" to be done. Maybe one of these days I will get back into gear.
I LOVE staying at home with this little guy. He makes me smile daily and I can't image my days without him anymore. Though since I do stay at home, I constantly feel like I need to be doing something. I do not feel like I can just sit around and do nothing because I feel like I am always "on the clock". The mommy clock doesn't ever end. With that said...my house looks like a tornado ran through it and I always have laundry up to my ears but I decided that's okay. In my book at least.
Lucas is much more alert now! He is always looking around and wants to see what is going on. He prefers to be upright rather than laying when someone is holding him. His little head/neck is getting so strong. As you can see in the picture, we have been sitting him in the bumbo for short periods of time. Lance was so excited to put him in the bumbo. I think it's because Lance wants him to watch football and nascar with him. Lucas does pretty good in it. He now looks to where he hears voices and "talks" to people. Some days he's all smiles and giggles...which makes the days even more fun.
When daddy comes home at night Lucas gets picked on. Don't be fooled...he likes it! You just can't tell by this picture because you can't see his face!
