Another Move

I thought this move would be simple. Since we moved with the company, we had people pack our stuff and drop it off at our new place. My mind was somehow forgetting that the move no longer consisted of just Lance and I. Since we moved last, Milo and Lucas joined our family. They seem to make things more challenging. Although the move wasn't that bad, I think we are all still adjusting and will be for awhile.

It seems like Lance and I have change happen in clusters. Anytime something major happens (like us having a baby) it is always followed by something else major (like moving our family 500 miles). Being closer to family is nice but it still takes time to adjust. I seem to have a hard time with major changes.

This move rocked Milo's world and he has let us know that this week. It rained for 2 full days right when we moved. He doesn't have the shelter he used to and did not enjoy the weather. He decided to chew up a cushion to our outside furniture to repay us for everything we have put him through. He is eating normal again and seems to be figuring out that this is now home.

I think Lucas knows there has been a big change but only because there have been a lot more people around than he was used to. He seems to be getting used to all the different people. Plus things will calm down soon and be somewhat like what we are all used to.

I can't believe how much Lucas keeps changing. He is growing so fast and constantly doing new things. He wants to roll over so bad but it just hasn't happened yet. He has his 2 month check up on Tuesday and I can't believe my baby is already that old!
