7 Months

7 months has come and gone this month. Seems like the months are flying by and I'm trying to hold onto every second for dear life. Lucas has changed so much this month that I don't even know where to begin. He is chatting it up at home while he is playing. When we go shopping or for walks, he looks around and takes everything in. He's so curious about every sound and object that he sees. He has warmed up to some people a lot but still uncertain about some strangers. Although he gives a little smile to the nice cashier as long as they keep their distance.

He seems to have an obsession with the coffee table. He is always putting his leg up on the bottom part and loves pulling his books to the floor. The last few days I have caught him trying to climb on the bottom shelf thing to sit there. The only problem is, there isn't enough room height wise.

Sunday was full of firsts for him. While he was suppose to be napping, I went into his room to check on him and found he had pulled himself up to his knees. Although he was not standing, Lance and I took it as a clue to being time to move his bed lower. 

 

Later that day he crawled across the room for the first time and hasn't slowed down since! He had been "crawling" backwards before Sunday and he could easily make it to his destination. However, the crawl across the room assured us that our baby is getting big! Check out Lucas crawling Here!
