What's Been Going On?!

I have obviously been having writers block. Although, I do not consider myself a writer I think that's the best way to put it. Life has been flying by as my blog sat here silently. Lucas turned 1 last month! Wow how the time flies. He's one busy boy. He loves running away from me, playing with Milo, laughing with dada and throwing balls. He is officially done with formula! YAY! He was blessed to have lots of friends and family to celebrate his big day with.

Then last weekend Lucas was dedicated at the church we have been attending. We were blessed to find a church that has so much to offer and great people. As you can tell by the picture below, Lucas was not very happy on the outside but I'm just sure he was bursting with joy on the inside!

 I also started a bible study last month called the power of a woman's word. It's been a great way to meet some people and get more involved in what God wants me to be doing. Lucas is usually even pretty good in the nursery now...which makes it even better.  He still cries when I leave but calms down. Bless those sweet ladies that watch the kiddos while they scream their heads off. Lance and I also joined a life group, which we really like. We've met some great people. Lucas has even made a friend that we started having play dates with! They both love to scream really loud during life group...

Lance ran his first 10k last weekend! He did awesome, getting 18th place overall! It made me a little guilty to go eat a doughnut at the bakery while he ran that far but we all know I won't be running that far anytime soon.

Well that's basically as exciting as it gets around here lately. I'm going to try harder to blog more often but wouldn't you rather hear nothing if I don't have anything good to say?
