Summer and Surprises

Since we all know that Lance and I don't do anything like having a baby without adding another major life event to it, it won't be any surprise that we are moving. Lance accepted a job in Cedar Rapids, IA. Although it will be hard to move away from our friends and family here, we are both excited about this new opportunity. We are currently in the process of figuring everything out. There is a lot to figure out from finding a place to live to finding a good doctor. We aren't sure of the exact date that we will be moving but we know it will be within the last few weeks of July. What a change it will be for us but we pray it will be a good change!

Lance has been working long hours because of harvest so Lucas and I have been trying to stay busy in the water. Yesterday him and Milo had a ball together. He threw the ball over and over again for Milo to chase and then they just relaxed in the pool. It was pretty dang cute watching them. Neither of them were at all concerned about what I was doing and I love when that happens! 

After a long afternoon in the sun we watched some Elmo and hung out inside. Didn't you know that everyone should watch Elmo while sitting on a cow?

This morning we had a play date with Lucas' favorite little buddy Hayden. I didn't get any pictures because they were busy having fun and the moms were busy talking. However it just never ceases to amaze me how these boys are two peas in a pod. Lucas will for sure miss his buddy when we move but luckily they have family in Iowa so we may still be able to have a play date now and then!
