Lucas was thrilled and I was pretty happy to have someone to hand Austin over to at 6 am on Saturday morning. So thankful that grandma is always willing to hold my babies, no matter the time of day or night. Thanks mom!
Saturday afternoon Lance's parents and sister arrived. We headed over to the park because it was a nice day compared to what we have been having.
That evening Lance's grandparents and three of his cousins arrived. We had a full house, which we love! Lance grilled us supper and we all called it a night to prepare for Sunday.
We only tried three different churches when we moved to Iowa but we tried those three a good amount of times. We just could not decide but finally did decide on Heartland and I am so glad that we did. We really enjoy Pastor Harold's sermons, Lucas loves the toddler room, and there are a lot of great people. We are excited to become even more connected there. Austin's was pretty good when we were up in front of everyone. He started to fuss while we were praying and then spit up all over me. I'm just glad he waited to do it on me instead of Pastor Harold!
After church we had another good meal and then Lance's family headed out. It was great having them here!
What a great weekend it was!
But boy did it make my Lucas tired! He's only fell asleep one other time like this and he was sick that time. He LOVED having so many people to play with. I'm sure Austin did too.
Thanks to everyone who helped us celebrate the day, those who couldn't be here but wanted to, and everyone else that kept Austin in their thoughts and prayers!
