Today is Thursday! Normally I'm not too excited for Thursdays but this week is an exception. This Monday I took off work to go to K-State's Transfer Day. I enjoyed the day off from work and trying to find my way around K-State. My advisor didn't give me much good information though. I was a little disappointed but figured I could get more help once I got accepted. Now although I went to transfer day, I hadn't officially got accepted to K-State yet. So it was a nice surprise yesterday when I got home to find my acceptance letter! Yesterday was also the first away game for K-State. So some friends came over to Lance's and we all watched the beating. It was a bad game.
Tomorrow is Lance's birthday!! I think he's pretty excited. I took off work tomorrow so that I could spend the day with him. Plus late afternoon I then have to leave to go to Washington. Yep, Jamie's wedding is finally here! Friday night I arrive in Washington, KS for the dress rehearsal that is at 7:00 and the dinner follows that. Then after all that us girls are hopefully going to have some fun! Saturday morning will be an early Saturday for me. Jamie has to get her hair done at 9:30. The wedding starts at 3. Lance has to be there at 1:45. So hopefully he is feeling okay by then. He is an usher in the wedding. Then the dinner for the wedding starts at 5. Sunday Lance's mom is having lunch for his birthday. It'll be nice to see some of his family. Then another week will be here before we know it.
Seems like time is going by so fast lately. The next weekend we are heading to Kansas City for the races! Lance and I are pretty excited. It's something we have went to since we started dating. Hope everyone has a fun and safe weekend! :)
