Just Another Boring Work Day

So far my day has been pretty boring. So let me start off by telling you about my weekend. It was awesome to not work Friday. I got some things done for the wedding, got to make lunch for lance and spend some time with him before I headed to Washington, KS.

The wedding rehearsal was normal. It didn't last long and then we were headed to eat. We ate outside at the bar in Lynn. Then I headed home for the night. My mom was still awake so I talked to her for awhile. I then tried to sleep and actually did for a few hours but then I started getting text messages. I ended up finally going to bed around 4. I talked to Lance and he acted like he had a good time that night.

Saturday was wedding day. I picked Lance up in Clay Center and we once again ventured to Washington. I got ready with the girls and we all got pictures taken and did that sort of thing. Before the wedding Justin gave Jamie a pair of cute earrings and a necklace. The wedding went nicely. It was short and sweet. The dinner followed the wedding and next the dance. The dance was fun but there wasn't many people there. I had a nice man to buy me drinks and dance with! We had a good time.

Sunday we went to church and ate lunch with Lance's family for his birthday. We ended up back in Manhattan that night around 8ish. It was a long busy weekend and this week has been nuts also.

I've been trying to contact salliemae to find out how to get a deferment since I'm taking classes, trying to contact ksu about some info, and trying to get more stuff done with my classes. Lance has a lot going on this week also. He has the class, career fair, and a test today. Last night I helped him study for awhile so hopefully he is ready for the test! He has another test this week and career fair again tomorrow. Hopefully he gets some job interviews for the end of the week.

Today Lance and I have been dating for 2 1/2 years. Seems like a long time but then again it doesn't. I'm so thankful to have him in my life!
