Rain, Rain, Rain

Last night it started raining around 7ish...maybe later. It's been raining on and off since then. I wonder how much rain we have gotten. I'm sure my dad knows exactly how much rain we have got at home. Farmers!

This morning we had a meeting and everyone got some assignments that had to be done today. I've finished mine and now am waiting to see what is next on the agenda. I'm so ready for it to be 5:00 but still have a good 2 1/2 hours left here. Next week will be a short week for me. Monday I took off to go to transfer day at K-State. I'm excited for this day but also a little nervous. I hope to find out some good information. I have started getting more and more nervous about going to K-State but my heart feels like I'm doing the right thing. I'm not so much looking forward to all the studies but does anyone look forward to that? I just feel like it's something I need to do to get the kind of job I really want. Now you might ask, "What kind of job is that?"....Truth is that I still don't know. What I do know is that I don't want to continue doing what I'm doing now. I feel like getting my BA is only going to help me. Hopefully I can achieve this goal. I know it won't be easy. Lance has helped me tremendously with my online classes. I feel blessed to have someone to help push me to achieve my goals. Whenever I am slacking..I know that Lance will give me a push to keep going. I sure do love him!

Most of you probably know Lance but I'm going to talk a little about him for those of you that don't. Lance is a junior at K-State. He's majoring in Business Management. This summer and presently he is working for Howe Landscape. Right now he's looking for a new job because he doesn't want to be stuck working in this crappy weather. Who can blame him? Lance is the type of person that will do about anything for a good friend. He'll always have your back and I can always count on him to be somewhere with me when it's important. Even if it's only important to me. Next Friday the 19th Lance turns 21! He'll be old but the best part is that he got a coupon for something free at Famous Dave's! Which is better...being 21 or Dave's?...DUH!! DAVE'S! Sorry...I'm obsessed but seriously.

Well thank God the weekend is getting closer! Hopefully it's a good one! :)
