This is a pitcher that we got for our wedding. This has become our tea pitcher. It seems silly that I am writing about a pitcher but I figure maybe someone can learn from my mistake. To make tea I boil water and add the little packet and then wait awhile. I noticed last week that there was a crack in the side of the pitcher by the handle. I didn't think anything of it because I had no idea where it came from. Then yesterday I made tea. I sat the pitcher in the sink (luckily) and proceeded to pour the tea into the pitcher. Once it was about full I heard a cracking sound. Soon I see tea pouring our the bottom of the pitcher. This is how my lovely pitcher died. Please don't do the same to yours.
