God Is Good

I know that God is good everyday but there are days or times in your life when he reaches out and shows us first hand what he can do and which direction he wants us to go. Let me start from the beginning. This last weekend a friend invited me to attend a Living Proof Live Simulcast featuring Beth Moore.

We went together and I'm so glad she invited me to go with her. It was amazing! It made me realize that I wanted to get more involved in church and with Jesus in general. I want to learn more about the bible and be involved. Which leads me to this week. There is a bible study that started today. I was talking to Lance yesterday and told him that I wanted to attend but I was not sure if I'd be able to if I got this job that I THOUGHT I already had. While we were talking about it, Lance talked me into calling the job and seeing if the lady needed more information from me before I started. I talked to the lady for awhile and found out that she gave the position to someone else since I already have a job on Thursdays. I was upset and Lance listened to me blubber for awhile. Once Lance went back to work, I sat down and thought about everything that had been going on and everything seemed clear. I felt like God was trying to tell me to go to that bible study. So this morning I went to the bible study that is also a Beth Moore bible study. It made me realize that even though I may have plans on what I'm going to do with my life, God has bigger and better plans that may not always make sense at the time.
