Everyday Occurrence

Lately I have noticed there are some things about my day that have become a normal occurrence. Let me explain. When I wake up in the morning and go out to feed Milo, I'm sure that I'll find him sleeping on the back porch. That is if Lance ran with him that morning. If Lance didn't run with him that morning he'll most likely be laying on the back porch staring at the door...waiting.

Around 10ish if I look outside, I'm sure to find him laying back by the gate in the shade.

Around 2 I'll find him either laying under the tree or laying next to his pool.

Around 4 he'll look in the window often and try to see what is going on for the next few hours. I think at this point he knows Lance will be home soon.

Then whenever Lance gets home, his little head will appear in the window to greet Lance. If Lance walks in the door, you can be sure that Milo will be standing by the window looking in for him. (Talk about pathetic!)

It's funny how easy it is for people and evidently dogs to fall into a routine.

I saw this posted on a friends facebook page today and I thought it was cute. Obviously Milo is part of our family, otherwise I wouldn't have a million pictures of him on here and posts dedicated to him and the crazy things he does! However, number three is a little harsh. Plus, number four may partly be true, dogs do not talk back but they sure can bark back! Here's the post:

To anyone who visits my home. Don't complain about my pet. (1) They live here, you don't. (2) If you don't want their hair on your clothes, I'm sorry. (3) Chances are, I love my pet more than I like you. (4) To you, they are animals. To me, they are family who are hairy, walk on all fours & don't talk back.
