Halloween Fun

Wednesday I got a phone call and surprise grandma and papa were coming to visit! Lucas was instantly thrilled. He asked me a million times if they were here yet that morning. By nap time, I was wishing I would have waited to tell him for my sake. Haha. He was thrilled when they made it here that evening!

Halloween was a fun day. Lucas got to go to the john deere store with papa and then play play play all day. Once it was about time for daddy to come home, Lucas got dressed up as a construction worker. Once we started trick or treating, everyone thought he looked a lot like bob the builder so we went with that.

We headed to the local mall to trick or treat. It was a rainy cold day outside. Lucas didn't mind the mall at all. He knew what we were doing there and he was all about the candy this year. He wouldn't say trick or treat but he was thrilled to get candy and would thank the nice people giving it to him.

It was fun to watch him so excited about it this year and walking around the mall is a lot nicer than getting in and out of the car all the time!
