Halloween Week

We've done some fun activities this week to keep Lucas busy. I'm sad that it is already feeling like winter out. He's going to be one sad boy stuck inside all the time! One night we made this spook house that I bought several years ago after Halloween on discount. Lucas had fun decorating it and trying to eat the 2 year old candy! (gasp!)

Another afternoon we made some cupcakes. Lucas helped mix the batter and then add the m & m's. He loves helping me in the kitchen. Which I also love, when I'm not working with raw meat or big knives.

Then there was pumpkin painting and carving. I didn't get any pictures of him painting his pumpkins because that ended with him throwing his paint brush at me and mommy was not very happy. The funny thing is, he knew by the look on the face that I was mad. Before I even said anything, his lip puckered up and he began to cry. That evening we carved a pumpkin with daddy and Lucas loved playing with the guts!
