The Move

I don't even know where to start. It's been so long since I have blogged. So much has happened. So much has changed. If you do not already know, we moved to Kansas. This all happened so fast! The last few months have been a whirlwind and I'm just starting to catch my breath.

Lance accepted a job and before we knew it, our stuff was packed and we were leaving Iowa. We hated saying goodbye to all the wonderful people we had met in such a short time but honestly no amount of time would have been long enough. Before we left I blogged for our church. Check it out here but more importantly check out some of the other great posts! I enjoy reading it every week.

This is the best picture I got of us in front of the house before we left. The picture just says it all. Every time we have moved we have a picture like this. Although the other pictures don't have the boxes in the background and it wasn't taken by one of the movers.

Once we got to Kansas we lived with family for around a month. We had to wait until we found a house and then closed on it. This phase seemed to last forever but I am sure thankful that we had family nice enough to let us stay with them for so long. We are not the kind of house guests that you don't notice. We are the loud, in your face kind. I'm sure everyone was as happy as we were when we finally got into our house!

I feel like I've left out so much about this move. I thought it would be an easy move because we are used to moving now but it really wasn't. It was unlike any other. Now if only our Iowa house would sell...
