This & That

Lucas loves making crafts. He had a blast making this snowman. It was super simple and he got to sneak marshmallows. The first picture is what it looked like when we were finished. The second picture is what it looked like the day after when he plucked off all the marshmallows in his room and ate them. He sure is something.

Austin also made his first craft project in December. We made these cute hand print thank yous. Well some of them looked like his hand print and others looked like a blob of paint. Below explains how Austin felt about the experience.

One thing Austin has been loving is getting into my pantry. He often finds what he wants and brings it to me. In this case he helped himself. I'm in the process of moving stuff that he can destroy out of reach. I sure wish I could lock it, like I used to. However, I don't think there is a way to lock a hideaway door. Bummer.

I would have thought this would be something that Austin would do but nope, this is Lucas. He shoved that thing on there good. I tried to wiggle that thing off with butter all around it for 10 minutes. I was starting to get worried but finally got it off! Lucas really didn't seem to mind and when I got done he told me that it was a good thing we have butter so if that happens again. We had a talk about doing that.
