Jen's Big 2-1

21 years ago today, my life changed drastically. I went from being an only child to having a little sister! I'm pretty sure I loved her from the start, although I truthfully don't remember what I really thought of her when my parents first introduced me to her. 

After watching old home movies, I realize I was a pretty bossy older sister. We have me on tape at my sisters party, taking her gift from her and trying to unwrap it. While Jennifer just sat there and acted like it was all good.

 Once Jennifer got older it was obvious that my older sister duties were mostly over. She was the one most likely to stand up for me even when she didn't know the whole story and I'm pretty sure at times she played the role of big sister.

Now that we live 500 miles apart, it's hard to be there for every birthday of each others. We now have to celebrate when we can and thank God for the opportunities when we are able to get together and celebrate birthdays and other events!

Happy Birthday little sis! We love you and wish we could be there to celebrate!
