Lance's Super Special Spicy Pasta

Lance has been cooking a lot more since I got pregnant. Once and awhile he even gets inspired to make something new. This is what he made himself for dinner the other night. He liked it so much, he made it again for lunch the next day.

Things you need: 
Shrimp
Pasta
Beer of your choice
Spaghetti Sauce
Bell Peppers (any or all kinds you like)
Onion
Olive Oil 
Crushed Red Pepper

First boil your noodles and cook your sauce in a sauce pan. Then heat the olive oil in the skillet. Next add the shrimp (ours was frozen shrimp.) Cook for a few minutes.


Next, Cut the onion & pepper length wise and then cut in half. Add the pepper to your skillet and let cook for a couple minutes. Then add the onions & beer to the skillet. For every 2 lbs of shrimp add one 12 oz. bottle of beer. Lance prefers a full flavored beer such as Boulevard.


Let this simmer until it reduces.


Now it's time to build the creation. Start with some noodles, sauce, and then the shrimp mixture. Then add about a teaspoon of crushed red pepper on top. If you don't like spicy, you might want to start with a little pinch. Finally, mix together and eat!
