One lady asked if she could use the restroom. I jokingly said no, you can't pee all day! She told me that some people do not let them. My thought is that these people all going through all our stuff anyway, so why not?
My dad came to hang out while the movers were here. He had to work but also helped with all the other fun stuff I needed to get done.
Friday the loaders showed up. I think there were 5 of them loading. The day seemed to drag on forever. We had the air turned way up because the door was open all day and it got pretty hot in there. They were finally gone around 5 and then we started getting everything clean. I was so ready to be back at the in laws that night to sleep before heading up to Iowa the next day. Lucas was already in bed by the time I got there but that was for the best.
Saturday was a full day of driving. Lindsay and Karen came along. Karen followed me and Lindsay took turns jumping vehicles. The trip was long but it wasn't hours of screaming, like I had expected. We were thrilled to get to our new home and see Lance! It seemed like we hadn't seen him in ages. Then it was time to wait around for our stuff to arrive..
