Austin Alexander

Lance and I picked a name probably two months ago but we just haven't got around to letting everyone know. Plus, we've been surprised at how people haven't been asking this time around as much.

When we first started talking about names we had a list of names we liked from last time but they were all very popular and we found that we knew at least 1 kid with each of those names now. So we looked and looked at names online. Most of the time if I liked a name, Lance did not. Plus there are a lot of boy names that we liked but I didn't like the nick name that people usually end up calling the child. Ya know?

I've been having problems writing this post because this little guy isn't going to be named after anyone. This name is just something Lance and I both liked and could agree on but I don't see anything wrong with that.  He gets to be his own person!

We've had fun putting together Austin's room. Basically everything we have in his room is stuff we already had, except his name on the wall and few other things. The thing above the dresser is suppose to look like a branch with the monkey hanging from it. I feel like it looks more like we are trying to hang the monkey but sometimes when ya use what you have instead of buying something new, it gives you a good laugh every time you look at it.  Haha..

Oh, Austin Alexander, we are beyond excited for your arrival!
